CheckoutScripts stores nothing about a scan unless you ask it to watch the page. This notice says exactly what is kept, for how long, and how to have it removed.
Who runs this service
CheckoutScripts is operated as an independent service. Questions about anything on this page go to info@checkoutscripts.com, which is the only contact channel.
Scanning a page
When you submit an address, the server fetches that address and returns the result to you. The address you scanned is not written to a database unless you also submit it together with your email address using the watch form. Nothing about the scan is shared with anyone.
If you leave an email address
We store exactly four things:
- the email address you typed;
- the page address you had just scanned, so we know what you wanted watched;
- which page of this site you submitted from;
- an irreversible hash of your IP address, used only to stop one connection from submitting dozens of addresses.
The purpose is to tell you once when scheduled re-checks start working. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form. The address is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in the European Union and is also passed to Brevo, which sends the message. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for anything else.
How long it is kept
Until you ask for it to be deleted, or until twenty-four months pass without the service launching a paid product, whichever comes first. The IP hash is kept for thirty days.
How to unsubscribe or be deleted
Every message carries an unsubscribe link. To have the record removed entirely, write to info@checkoutscripts.com from the address you signed up with and it will be deleted within thirty days. You can also ask for a copy of what is stored about you, or for it to be corrected.
Cookies and third-party code
This site sets no analytics and no advertising cookies. One entry is stored in your browser to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice; it never leaves your device. The watch form loads Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-robot check that runs only on the result page and only where the form appears. Fonts are served from Google Fonts.
Complaints
If you think this service handles your data wrongly, tell us first at info@checkoutscripts.com. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
